RIDE #4  Rehoboth Beach Wildlife, Mack's Ice Cream

Our Favorite!

Easy / Moderate
About 1 - 3 Hours of Cycling
6 Miles Roundtrip
Allow 2 - 3 Hours

This ride follows Bicycle Route 1, Delaware's first statewide signed bicycle route. With generous shoulders, local cycling groups identified this stretch as a preferred north-south route. The majority of the ride is contained within the Delaware Seashore State Park, which offers vistas over undeveloped seashore, sand dunes, wetlands and marshes. Along the way stop to visit World War II submarine watchtowers, the Lifesaving Museum and a bustling marina. When you reach the Inlet, you will be rewarded with a terrific view of the ocean coastline and of Rehoboth Bay. The extended loop to Bethany offers eateries, shops and sights including an old Native American Totem Pole. Great seaside dining at Mango's… tell them we sent you. (Want to ride even further? Ask about our "Bays & Shores Extensions" ride)
